Fishing Tournament, September 14th , daylight to 5 p.m.
The Tournament will be held on Sept. 22 from 6.a.m. (lines in the water) to 5 p.m. There is no check out so Teams can launch at safe light. There is NO CHECK OUT, however, All Anglers will only be allowed to start fishing (lines in the water) at 6 a.m. Fishing tournament rules will be available in advance on at the mandatory Captains Meeting www.Plantationredfishclassic.com
Prizes will include First, Second & Third place for each species: 1-fish per species weighed in
Redfish, Trout, & Red/Gag Grouper. There is also an Overall Youth & Ladies Division
Redfish: Heaviest Redfish (within the legal slot size of 18-27 inches)
Largest Trout (by inches, photo catch & release on Official CCA measuring device)
HeaviestRed or Gag Grouper (Red Grouper min. legal length is 20 inches,
& Gag Grouper is min. legal length is 24 inches).
This is an Individual Angler weigh in, each angler on each team will be able to weigh in a fish in each category. All anglers must be in line and checked in for weigh in by 5 p.m.
Anglers must weigh in their own fish at the weigh in.
Registration is $150-early/ $200 per boat for 2 anglers, which includes two tickets to the Captain’s Welcome Party and Captain’s Award Dinner.
Registration include a great swag bucket, Tournament Shirts, Steak Dinner, & FREE Stuff!
Additional Registered Team Anglers $85.00 each (up to 4 Anglers maximum per team)
Youth Anglers 12 & under are FREE.
Youth Anglers must reel in their own Fish in order to weigh fish in.

Plantation on Crystal River's Annual Redfish Classic Tournaments mission is to produce the area’s best family-friendly Redfish Tournament, encourage Conservation and get more anglers out on the water. Tournament Host Plantation on Crystal River and it's Sponsors are proud of this professional and upscale Family friendly event. Redfish is the primary quest, but there will also be categories for Trout & Grouper(Red & Gag) along with a Youth & Ladies Division.
Welcome Reception, September 13th Friday, 6 p.m.
A Captain’s Welcome Reception will be held on Friday, Sept. 21st at 6 p.m. in Magnolia Ballroom, the largest meeting space at the Plantation on Crystal River. The Captains Party will include Tournament Registration, Tournament Shirts, Captains Buckets, Complimentary Hors d’ Oeuvres, Raffle with Great Prizes, & Cash Bar. We will have a Tournament Overview by Tournament Director Misty Wells to inform all anglers of the rules, regulations of the tournament & highlight our sponsors/vendors. Our Charities will also be on hand to promote the work they are doing in our communities.
Awards Dinner, September 14th, 7 p.m.
We will hold our Tournament Awards Dinner Saturday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in Magnolia Ballroom.

for all Tournament Anglers, Sponsors, Volunteers & Social Ticket holders.
The Fun keeps going when we are handing out those Large Checks & Custom-Handcrafted Trophies for First, Second & Third place, with categories for Youth & Ladies.
